Based in Folkestone in Kent I set up Electrical and Test in 2017 with the aim of providing high quality electrical work to people who want a good, safe, no corners cut, job.
I work throughout Kent and South East London undertaking most electrical work, but I am a particular specialist in solar PV, battery storage, inspection & testing and EV Charging solutions (I will do the difficult ones the big national companies won’t touch).
I pride myself in the quality of my materials and workmanship, and I install and test to British Standard BS7671 otherwise known as the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
I am a member of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (the NICEIC) as an Approved Contractor, the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC).
NICEIC ensure that member electricians maintain the highest standards of safety, that all work is tested in accordance with BS7671 (the 18th edition wiring regulations) and that we issue you a Electrical Installation Certificate for all electrical installation work.
MCS certification ensures that renewable technology is specified, installed and maintained correctly. MCS is a mark of quality ensuring that equipment meets good standards of performance and that installers are safe and competent.
RECC sets out the high standards of consumer protection in the marketing, pre-contractual information, quotations, deposits, contracts, guarantees and after-sales service for domestic consumers.
I am covered by public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance at levels far greater than the rules require of me, and if you contract me to undertake solar PV or battery storage work covered by MCS and the RECC code my workmanship is guaranteed by independent insurance.
I have gained a reputation as a reliable electrical contractor with most of my new work coming through recommendation from existing customers. Highly skilled I constantly get great feedback from my customers about the quality of my work and my professional attitude to the trade.
