Since 1st February 2024, all new Battery Storage systems are zero rated for VAT.
So you can have a Battery System installed without paying VAT on the Battery , Inverter or any other parts. You don’t even pay VAT on the Labour!
This is available to everyone in the UK and its does not matter if you have an existing solar system or not.
